An English, Spanish, and German translation patch has been released for What’s Shenmue, the Shenmue sampler disc given to Japanese gamers who preordered the original Shenmue title. The game takes place in Ryo Hazuki’s dream, in which he meets Hidekazu Yukawa, the then Senior Managing Director of Sega.
The patch requires a GDI format dump of the original GD-ROM. It will create an Alcohol 120% disc image that you can burn and play in your Dreamcast or use within an emulator. Enjoy this extra Shenmue content, especially since it seems unlikely that Sega will ever release another chapter of Shenmue!
