A little late, but news nonetheless:
Right on time for the 10th anniversary of id Software‘s Quake, DCEvolution.net’s second Xmas 2006 release represents the ultimate Quake package for your Dreamcast:
Play the original Shareware Version of Quake or fight your way through more than 300 Deathmatch maps against bots.
Using an enhanced version of QuakeDC, ported by Titanium Studios (Stupid Invaders), it offers everything you’d expect from a commercial Dreamcast game:
With its VMU and VGA support, high resolution graphics at 640×480, light and transparency effects and the full original soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails it basically plays and looks like Quake III Arena.
A release of this quality is only possible thanks to Manoel "Fragger" Kasimier (nxMakaqu), who has been working on polishing, improving and enhancing QuakeDC since 2001. This compilation finally features all of his fantastic work on one huge disc!
