A new puzzle game calle DynaMate has been ported to the Dreamcast by one of it’s original developers, Jonas Norberg. Here is a description of the game from the readme file:
Dynamate is a puzzle game. A level is a 16×16 grid where pieces can slide in four directions: up, down, left and right. A piece slide until it hit something. If a colored piece hit another some combinations make them both disappear. The goal of the game is to make all colored pieces disappear.
To make a piece slide place the little hand over the piece, press and hold “A”, then move the d-pad in the direction you want it to slide. Not all pieces can be moved.
The game also comes with a level editor.
The .elf file for DynaMate DC + versions of the game for the Gameboy Color, Linux & BeOS can be downloaded from the DynaMate homepage. The scrambled 1st_read.bin + the DJ & Nero images can be downloaded from the DCHB DynaMate page. Thanks to CyRUS64 & SEGA for the news.
