Pat Swieskowski has released a new mp3 player for dreamcast, here is his info about it:
“While there are other MP3 players for the DC, this one is different in that the user interface is displayed on a VMU. This frees up the TV for visualization if the DC is plugged into a TV, and, more importantly, allows people to play music into their stereo systems without needing a TV nearby. The sound quality is excellent and it’s extremely stable (uses MAD for decoding).”
It also supports directories and ID3 tags for organizing songs on CD, and has been released with source code under the GPL.
