What is DreamInducer?

DreamInducer is an advanced bin-loading menu program for the SEGA Dreamcast video game console, with the possibility of being used as a DivX menu system similar to the DVD menu system.

Features alreay implemented for DreamInducer v1.0:
DivX Movie playback, useable in introduction sequences (displayed before the menu), cut sequences (displayed between menu tiers), and for watching full-length movies.
Multi-Tier Menus, hierarchial menuing system with support for per-tier themes.
Features I am working on for v1.0:
Background music in menus, each tier can play its own mod/mp3/ogg file.
Better Image support, ability to specify which PVR image format should be used for each file.
More image formats planned, but not likely to make it in 1.0
I am gearing up for a release Monday or Tuesday depending on how badly I screw up things before then 🙂 In any case, the work on DI will not end on the 15th with the contest deadline, I plan to continue working on DreamInducer until I can use it to takeover the world! MUHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! J/K, but I will maintain DreamInducer for quite a while.
