kRYPT_ has posted news on our forums about some new DCFactory scripts that have been added to his site + some other info, here’s what he had to say:

“I just finished putting the scripts (that BoBo sent along) up. They’re available at your friendly neighborhood DCF Scripts tab, under the util section.

For those of you that still haven’t tried it, it’s a different kind of self-boot toolkit, that doesn’t use batch files, but instead customized scripts for each application it self-boots, bringing point-and-click ease to make your own custom CD images (with your roms/videos/whatever). Downloads are at http://dcfactory.cjb.net.

This update brings the supported list up to 8 applications:

• Nester (this one will get an update soon, will support themes and FDS)
• FRNes
• MameD
• DreamSNES
• DCGen
• DCMP3
• SMEG
• GypPlay

The current release version (0.9.1) has a little bug where the script timeout got set WAY too low, and while it’s copying files a dialog that says “This Script is taking too Long to Run” pops up. You may safely ignore this dialog, and let it do it’s thing, the dialog will go away.

This has already been fixed in the latest beta release (0.9.2), but since I havent’ had any bug reports on it, I will likely release the next version public (0.9.3).“
