Turrican2K has updated his dev page with some info about his latest project:

“Tile Engine BETA: Collisions and scrolling done. Builds sent out to beta testers. I’m gonna put up shots and maybe a short video once I can aquire a digital camera.

At current the engine could have the ability do RPG, bomberman, tetris/colums, shoot-em-up(vertical/horizontal) maybe and perhaps a platformer with some modifications.”
