Here’s some more news from Wraggster, this time about a Japanese homebrew game that can be found at the DMP site. Somebody called Ruina has kindly translated what’s written at that site for those of us who can’t read Japanese:

“It’s a basic anime style version of minesweeper (called Dejiko Minesweeper). The site contains various information (you can choose a character, it only takes up 2 blocks on the vmu, supports the vga adapter, etc.). The download contains the word ‘trial’ so this may end up being a commercial product. The screenshots aren’t anything like what you actually play (it seems the trial version is a much earlier version). The shots show dialogue screens(not in the demo), character selection (not in the demo), kinda 3d/isometric minesweeper boards (not in the demo), etc. I was unable to get this to selfboot as well. I tried various ip.bin’s with or without binhack and all the usual tricks. It would get to the basic homebrew (not affiliated with sega) screen although in japanese and then it would freeze.I had to use a boot disc in order to get it to work right (as he says at the bottom of the page). Just burn it as iso9660 mode 1 (no first audio track or anything).”
