For those of you who remember my rant a while back of Sega secretly producing Dreamcast’s, I was right, Sega was infact still producing Dreamcasts and according to PDC my theory was true. In the statement he mentions that the Dreamcast is selling very well, just as well as it was last year.
On topic here, the REAL Dreamcasts that are NOT able to play CDR’s have just hit the market completely. According to Ryan Fagan he bought a Dreamcast online in a “Sonic Bundle”, it did NOT read any burned disks that can be found here on DCEmu, on the bottow it said it was manufactured in “December 2000”, he later went to the Best Buy and bought a DC that was manufactured “June 2000” which worked just fine with the same exact disk. He also states the labels are completely different in the way they look, and would get me a scan of the labels of Dreamcasts that do not work.
