Here is a bit of news from his site.

“There is a bug in The Adventures of Hax0r and Quax0r that causes the multiplayer board to be drawn incorrectly. If you really must play the multiplayer game, please use the latest DreamZZT (RC5). I should be uploading patched images soon, probably after I expand the demo more.”
