I have had a bit of time to do some coding on Boob!cast. Here are some of the things I’ve done
1) Rewritten the fpu. This is now much faster but doesn’t have great exception handling currently. It does however seem to now work properly – for example correct dlist vertex coordinates are now being generated rather than some of the odd ones i was getting before!
2) Maple Bus – The bugs i had with controllers not working have been found and fixed. Controllers now work and are tested in Ghetto Pong although a bug or two still remains.
3) Tile Accelerator – This was achieved today and is the most pleasing aspect of my recent progress… I got some non-commercial tile-accelerator-using software working. I’ve only tested 3dtest and SMEG (Game Gear emu). However I haven’t yet added support for textures so in the case of SMEG only a boring quad fills up the screen but its still been generated by the TA 🙂
