Well saturn fans, it appears someone who had been working on a saturn emu for quite some time ran into problems and stopped. But, as he saw the growing popularity of dreamcast emulators he decided to find his problem. Here is the email of what is going on :
I just starting working on an emulater for
sega saturn for dreamcast, for a few months. I was
about to quit, because there was so many problems, I
got the saturn display screen up but then it went to
an audio cd player, that played nothing. Last saturday
I stumbled on to the problem that was causing the
saturn game to mess up. Had to do with the boot cd
used, as i seemed to of courupted one of the major
files(scripts) of the core. Im not done but i did get
Nights to play at a descent speed and then got the
graphics to get a lot smoother(at a slow speed but its
getting better) which is a major step for the
emulater. Im calling it SaturnCast and ill be
releasing a website soon because im doing really good
so far.speed, while the others where running pretty slow or
PS. Nights,Datona Usa, and a demo of sonic 3d blast where all running at a good not at all, but they all show the saturn start up screen.
It seems totally legit and progressing and has about the correct things that we should run into. I guess time will tell. I cannot wait to play nights 🙂
