For some time now Sega of Japan has been promising consumers an MP3 player for the Dreamcast. Though the demand for a Dreamcast MP3 player seems to be at peak level, the company has yet to deliver the actual product. In May Sega of America even listed the MP3 player on its release list for 2000, but alas, didn’t deliver. Thankfully, one resourceful Dreamcast owner wasn’t content to wait around for Sega to deliver on its promise — so he went and made his own.

Seeing the somewhat new DC homebrewn scene starting to get some recognition is pretty cool.
