Octalus666 posted something on the board and just informed me on IRC that he is in the process of porting ICQ to the dreamcast! He needs some coding help because he is a student and has got much time so if u think u can help send him an email. Here is the post he made on the message board:

A couple of weeks ago, I started working on an ICQ port for the Dreamcast. This is of course almost impossible, as the official ICQ source code isn’t available. But there are some ways of working around this, and I have already got 1 solution up and running. It actually works (sort of). The main plan for this first test was to see if one can PM a user and he can PM you back. The ICQ server was having some problems (a lot actually) but finally I received a message from my Dreamcast to my PC ICQ. So now I have started: PROJECT DCQ.
If you feel that you are an able programmer, a talented DC coder, send me a mail now, and welcome on to the DCQ team. The initial plan for DCQ is to get the following working:
-Send/recieve instant messages (works but not 100% efficient)
-Contact List with the ability to save
-The ability to browse the net while using DCQ

All Logos, Load pictures and spinning disc images are also welcome.

He also mentioned to me that he thinks he will released the first version in about 3 weeks time!!!
