Yay sintendo fixed the bugs. Here is what he has to say:
“You guys better get your multi-sessions ready, because this version works! I discovered the problem and it has been fixed; by accident actually. I disabled transparencies to see if it would improve the emulation speeds, and tried it out on Castlevania IV. A few minutes into the game and I accidently fell in the water. Anyone who’s played it on Sintendo knows that that just isn’t possible. Now it is!
Not yet being quite impressed, I tried it out on Chrono Trigger. I can’t explain to you what I saw, you’re going to have to see it for yourselves at http://sintendo.dcwarez.com/.
Enough said? The emulation speed is noticably faster as well (not yet full speed). There is one negative side to this, however. Transparencies don’t work. It is noticeable from time to time but shouldn’t have any real bearing on gameplay (with a few exceptions). This will be fixed when I work on improving the emulation speed.
Okay, so, check it out. I guarantee you will be impressed (not a guarantee :).
Sintendo Beta v0.02 – Emulator download
The source code for this version will not be released because only minor changes were made and it takes me quite some time to upload all the files. For anyone interested, the only significant change that was made was in Emu.cpp, the line reading “Settings.Transparency = TRUE;” was changed to “Settings.Transparency = FALSE;”. All other changes were purely cosmetic.”
