A new image viewer called SDL Image Slider has been released for the Dreamcast by elefas, here is some of what elefas had to say about the 0.2 beta:

““This is my first attempt to DC programming. Image Slider is a simple program for viewing images on you DC. It supports all main image formats (JPEG, BMP, GIF, …), in fact all image formats supported by SDL_image library.

To use it, just burn a cd-r with a bunch of images placed in the folder “pictures” and in the root dir burn 1st_read.bin. fire up your DC with DC-Hakker boot disk, swap it with the disk you have just burned and launch 1st_read.bin.“
