Bero has posted some work in progress news for the already very popular DC Movie Player:

• send all ffmpeg change to upstream. now it merged into cvs. you can get from ffmpeg cvs
• change codebase to latest cvs. it supports Sorenson SVQ3 and On2 VP3 codec.
