Bombshell has posted some new Tux And Barrels info on the game’s homepage, here’s what he had to say:

“Just spent alot of time getting the scrolling system to work and guess what?
I find the acutal Donkey Kong for the commodore, so I decided to tear out,
what I had worked on for two days, out of the engine. The result IMO is nice
It gives the game a more Arcadish feeling which is what I was aiming for. Another
Thing is that am gonna make sure there are at least 10 different levels for the game.“

Screenshots by the games graphics designer, impetus, can also be seen on the Tux & Barrels Sourceforge page. A new Tux And Barrels beta release is expected to be out around April 15.
