“Just an update folks,

In case you missed it LiENUS has joined the team and is helping me work through the KOS port of the player. We have video decoding and displaying and audio decoding. I am now moving on to actually producing audio from the decompressed MP3.

As for performance I can happily say video performance is about the same(maybe better) than the CE version. On a 320X240 clips it is able to produce about 40fps.

BTW on the same clip the “other” divx for DC player, which LiENUS was able to get working finally produced only 20fps.“

Sweet! I don’t know how well he’ll take this seeing how much he seems to hate this site, the staff & the visitors, but anyhoo, well done & good luck LiENUS, although I’m sure you don’t need any luck.
