ID Software has sent me an email telling me I can no longer have quake 1 on our site. 🙁 I personally think it would not hurt them any to have it on the site considering you cannot even buy it in stores anymore and many people have it. But here is what the email said:

“The Quake emulation is pirated software. Only the code is open sourced. The game is not freeware. Please remove the download link and the infringing material from your site immediately and confirm your compliance via return email to me.

Nothing herein shall constitute a waiver of any right or remedy of Id
Software, Inc.
